For Sentimental Reasons

Many times I have had the opportunity to collaborate with my customers on creating a quilt in honor of a loved one who is living or has passed away. These quilts are in celebration of graduations, births, weddings etc. The most sentimental of which are those using the clothing such as T-shirts, wedding dresses, baby clothes and mens shirts and ties of a loved one. These quilts are cherished and bring a sense of accomplishment and comfort to the recipients.

I have recently been given the opportunity to work with The Sharing Network of New Jersey where I created a quilt to honor organ and tissue donors and their families. This is an ongoing project.

NJ Sharing Network is the non-profit organization responsible for the recovery and placement of donated organ and tissue for those in need of a life-saving transplant.
